Baking The Ultimate Oreo Cheesecake : New Found Hobby

Hello guys, it's been a while!

I know it's been years since I last visited my site. So let me share one of my many experiences during my hiatus.

One of my experiences was to learn how to bake a cheesecake! Indeed, a cheesecake.

I want to share the recipe of my Ultimate Oreo Cheesecake and its procedure, so here it goes.

Prepare the following materials and ingredients:

Equips
- 6-inches in radius cake pan / spring pan
- Aluminum Foil

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup crushed Graham Crackers
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon sugar (for the crust only)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 20 ounces Cream Cheese (Preferably Anchor Cream Cheese) it still depends on the heigh of your baking pan
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla (vanilla syrup)
- 10 pcs Regular Oreos (Or add the count according to your satisfaction)

Steps
1.) Mix the following in a bowl
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/8 cup butter
- 3/4 cup crushed Graham crackers.
Stir until mixed completely.
2.) Put an aluminum foil inside the spring pan covering the base and the sides. Leave two small handle-like folds of foils on the sides. This is to ensure that the cake will not stick to the pan and you may have a handle to remove the foil with the cake from the pan.
3.) Press mixture into the spring pan. This will serve as its base layer. Chill for 1 hour.
4.) While the layer is being chilled, continue with the beating of the cream cheese in a large bowl.
5.) Add sugar.
6.) Add the egg slowly.
7.) Add the sour cream slowly.
8.) Add the Vanilla syrup.
9.) Preheat over to 325 degrees Celsius.
10.) Pour the mixture into the spring pan above the crust.
11.) Bake for at least 45 minutes. You will notice that the mixture is kind of rising up. This is normal. Just don't overcook it as it will shrink when cooled.
12.) While baking, prepare the toppings. Crush into bits all the oreo pieces.
13.) Mix the crushed oreos with the 1/4 butter.
14.) After 45 minutes of baking, turn off the oven and get the spring pan from the oven and put the mixture on the top of the baked cheesecake.
15.) With the cake almost done, return it to the oven. Let it sit in the oven for 30 minutes. Make sure the door of the oven is slightly open.
16.) After 30 minutes of waiting, your cheesecake is ready!

Now, indulge!

Ultimate Oreo Cheesecake! by yours truly.
